It seems strange being without a cell phone. My flight was a little delayed getting to Miami because the aircraft was late arriving due to Air Force One landing at Miami. Evidently they close the entire airport while President Bush’s plane comes in to land. I am half way to LA right now. There are power adapters on most all of the seats so I am running my laptop off of the airplane’s power. I almost got a free $300 voucher on this leg. They asked for a volunteer and I was the first one up with my ticket. The gate attendant held my ticket until the very end and then she said they didn’t need my seat - bummer. I would have had plenty of time to get to LA on the next flight. Oh well. I have just spent the last hour or so building a template for our Asia web site. www.rustyisler.com There are no free peanuts or such on this flight. This is the first time I have run into that policy and it is making me hungry. When I get to LA I will try to update the web changes I made and send this email out. I think I have about a four hour layover. My bag is checked through to Hong Kong and on to Singapore. My pack weighed in at 36 pounds so I was successful at packing light. -R
